Signup For The Airline Frequent Flyer Account
Almost all airlines will have a frequent flyer rewards program that you can sign up for. You'll have to enroll in the program that you would like miles in and that your credit card can transfer to. For example, United has its MileagePlus program and Chase Ultimate Rewards are able to transfer 1:1 to MileagePlus. You would have to signup for a new MileagePlus account in your name.
Link Your Frequent Flyer Account Number
Once you have signed up, you'll need to locate your account number. This is often found in the profile tab of your newly created account.
You'll want to copy this number and have it handy.
Now you'll login to your bank account and navigate to the "Transfer Points" section.
You should see a list of airline and hotel programs that you're able to transfer your points to here.
Simply click on the program you're interested in and you'll be prompted to enter your program account number in order to link your credit card account to your rewards program account.
