Signup For The Airline Frequent Flyer Account

Almost all airlines will have a frequent flyer rewards program that you can sign up for. You'll have to enroll in the program that you would like miles in and that your credit card can transfer to. For example, United has its MileagePlus program and Chase Ultimate Rewards are able to transfer 1:1 to MileagePlus. You would have to signup for a new MileagePlus account in your name.

You must create a new frequent flyer account for the airline you want to transfer credit card points to.

Link Your Frequent Flyer Account Number

Once you have signed up, you'll need to locate your account number. This is often found in the profile tab of your newly created account.

You must locate and save the account number of the frequent flyer account you just created.

You'll want to copy this number and have it handy.

Now you'll login to your bank account and navigate to the "Transfer Points" section.

You should see a list of airline and hotel programs that you're able to transfer your points to here.

You will be asked how many points you want to transfer.
